Hi, I'm John — founder of Artistry Northwest.
My journey into woodworking began as a personal passion, shaped by years of experience in home restoration, hardwood flooring, and painting. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, where I still live with my wife and our two young daughters. Together, we spend as much time as we can outdoors, exploring the woods and mountains that continue to inspire my work.
After years of working in remodeling and running a business, I took time to reflect on how I wanted to live — and what kind of work I wanted to put into the world. I kept coming back to woodworking. Not just as a trade, but as an art form — something honest, tangible, and lasting.

Artistry Northwest was born from that clarity. It’s more than a business — it’s a way to pursue meaningful craftsmanship, provide for my family, and create pieces that people truly value. Whether it’s a set of custom cabinets, a hand-built table, or a full home remodel, I approach each project with care, creativity, and a deep respect for the materials I use.
